The West Coast will not be represented on USA Basketball's U18 Men's National Team. The Bay Area's Jabari Bird was one of the only two players from the West Coast to be invited to USA Basketball's Training Camp earlier this week. Robert Upshaw from Fresno, Calif. was the other West Coast player invited. Upshaw did not make the cut either.

Bird, a 2013 recruit, recently told Rivals.com that Washington and California his two favorite schools with Arizona, Oregon and Colorado rounding out his top five. The 6'6" shooting guard is ranked as the No. 2 player in all of California from his class and is rated the No. 11 overall player in ESPN's rankings.
The Richmond-native will star for the Oakland Solidiers in this summer's AAU circuit.
