2012 MLB Draft Order: Where The Giants And A's Fit In

The 2012 MLB Draft begins on Monday and runs through Wednesday. The San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics front offices have been hard at work constructing their respective game plans for the draft over the past few weeks.

The A's hold the No. 11 overall pick in the first round and will have a terrific chance to pick up a solid prospect in this year's draft. The San Francisco Giants hold the No. 20 overall pick and are not in terrible shape. This year features a very deep talent pool from all over the country so both Bay Area teams should have a good chance to pick up vital pieces toward the future of their respective franchises.
