The third round of the 2012 U.S. Open is officially in the books after play has wrapped on Saturday. Three-time winner Tiger Woods struggled late and dropped down to a tie for 14th place after opening the round in a tie for the lead.
Jim Furyk and Graeme McDowell will be at the top of the leaderboard heading into Sunday's final round. Furyk managed to shoot an even par for the day, thanks to a late birdie that evened him up again. McDowell, meanwhile, shot an impressive 2-under for the day on the challenging course at the Olympic Club.
Woods shot 5-over in the third round due to a pair of late bogeys on the back nine. He sits at 4-over in the tournament.
