2012 U.S. Open Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Slips As Three Way Tie For First Develops As Round 3 Continues

A three way tie has turned into a four way tie in Round 3 of the 2012 U.S. Open as the challenging course at the Olympic Club continues to trouble the field. Currently, Graeme McDowell, Nicolas Colsaerts and Jim Furyk sit in first place. Tiger, picking up three bogies in the first six, sits just outside the lead at 2-over for the tournament. David Toms, who was tied for first when Round 3 began, has struggled quite a bit and is 5-over through seven and has slipped to 12th place.

The Bay Area representatives in the tournament have mostly finished up for the day. Jeff Curl shot at respectable 71 but remains 9-over for the tournament, well out of contention. Michael Allen is 7-over for Round 3 and 11-over on the week thus far. Nick Watney is 3-over for the day and +7 overall. Charlie Wi is doing better, only 1-over on the day and 5-over overall, but that's only good for 20th place.

With 26 men within 4 strokes of the lead, it's anyone's tournament at the Olympic.
