The 2012 French Open was expected to conclude on Sunday, but inclement weather forced the men's championship between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal were able to get three sets and a couple of games in the fourth finalized before rain showers hit Rolland Garros, but tournament officials would suspend the match after an hour-long delay.
The match is scheduled to resume on Monday morning at 4 a.m. PST, although their is rain in the forecast for most of the day. Both players complained about sloppy conditions and slippery tennis balls, so we'll see just how poor the clay court is tomorrow morning.
As for the match itself, Nadal won the first set 6-4 and the second set 6-3. Djokovic rallied to win the third set 6-2 and currently leads the fourth 2-1, although his opponent was clearly struggling with the wet conditions.
