J.R. Hildebrand will be representing the Bay Area on the 2012 Indianapolis 500 on Sunday. Saturday, however, will continue the weeks-long celebration and activities at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway racetrack and give the plans plenty more to do before the biggest IndyCar race of them all waves the green flag.
Hildebrand will be taking part in the autograph sessions on Saturday's Legends Day. All 33 drivers in the field will be signing autographs, as well as drivers from IndyCar's history. The day will also feature vintage car exhibitions, a memorabilia show and vintage on-track racing.
The day kicks off with the opening of the (unfortunately sold out) Legends Club, which offers a free buffet and complimentary bar to those lucky enough to get their VIP tickets early.
