Tour of California, Stage 8 2012: Stage Preview, Television Information, How To Watch Online And More

Stage eight of the 2012 Amgen Tour of California is a 44mi roll from Beverly Hills to downtown Los Angeles, a chance to promote the race and for spectators to get a good look at the professional peloton. There will be a tight sprint finish, but it's incredibly unlikely anything will happen in the GC standings. Robert Gesink (Rabobank) made his move on Mt. Baldy, and his hold on the leader's jersey is safe going through Los Angeles.

Peter Sagan (Liquigas), who won all four of the race's first four stages, will likely put in a god showing in the final sprint. It's also the last chance for Heinrich Haussler (Garmin-Barracuda), who came in second to Sagan on all four stages, to grab a stage win in the 2012 Tour of California. The riders take days like this casually, but they'll make every effort on that final sprint.
