Next Saturday, Las Vegas will play host to UFC 146. Although the anticipated main event of Junior dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem fell through, there will still be a heavyweight title match and there will still be plenty of Bay Area fighters looking to make an impact.
The early odds are in for most of the top fights. According to our friends over at OddsShark, dos Santos is a heavy favorite to retain his title in the main event. While challenger Frank Mir remains a threat, he seems to be a few key losses away from turning into a name-brand tomato can.
Salinas native Cain Velasquez is also a betting favorite, as is "Big Country" Roy Nelson. Always a pleasure to see our favorite kung fu fighter enter a bout as the top dog.
