The Stanford Cardinal took two of three games in a road series against the Washington Huskies this past weekend and beat the California Golden Bears in a non-conference road game on Monday to move their record to 20-7.
Stanford (20-7, 4-5 Pac-12) remained ranked No. 16 in the latest Collegiate Baseball Newspaper poll.
The team has outscored its opponents 45-28 in its past five games, including a 19-6 romping over California (2-7, 7-13) on Monday night. Stanford is currently tied for fifth with Washington (17-11, 4-5) in the Pac-12 standings.
Other Pac-12 schools ranked in the poll include No. 9 Arizona (23-9, 9-3), No. 10 Oregon (20-9, 8-4), No. 11 UCLA (21-7, 8-4) and No. 24 Arizona State (19-12, 6-6).
Stanford hosts Pacific (10-12) for a non conference game on Tuesday and then will host Oregon for a three-game weekend series starting on Friday.
