The Masters 2012: The Pairings Have Been Announced

The pairings for the Masters have been announced as everyone anticipates one of the more intriguing Masters tournaments to come along in some time.

All eyes will be on Tiger Woods as his recent win at Bay Hill came at a perfect time for him to begin his chase for his fifth green jacket and get him one step closer to realizing his dream of surpassing Jack Nicklaus' 18 major championships. Woods hasn't won a major since the 2008 US Open and is stuck on 14 career major titles. Woods is in Group 15 and will tee off at 10:35 am EDT.

Three golfers with local ties will be participating in this year's tournament in Tom Watson, Nick Watney and Kevin Chappell. Watson tees off with Group 11 at 9:40 am EDT with Johnson Wagner and Hideki Matsuyama. Watney tees off with Group 16 at 10:46 EDT with Luke Donald and Francesco Molinari. And Chappell tees off with Group 20 at 11:30 am EDT with Ian Woosnam and Edoardo Molinari.

Defending champion Charl Schwartzel is in Group 14 and will tee off at 10:24 am EDT with Keegan Bradley and K. Kraft.
