The 2012 West Coast Conference reaches its semifinals Saturday evening and the Bay Area is guaranteed one team in the finals. The top seeded Saint Mary's Gaels will meet the fifth seeded San Francisco Dons in the first semifinal contest at 6:00pm pacific. The Dons will be looking to snap a 13-game losing streak to the Gaels. Here are the details:

Series History: The two schools have met four times in the WCC Tournament, with Saint Mary's winning three of the four games. Their latest postseason matchup saw USF defeat SMC 83-66 in the opening round of the 1998 tournament, en route to a conference title. This season, Saint Mary's swept San Francisco winning 87-72 in Moraga on January 9 and 67-60 in San Francisco on February 25.
