Richard Seymour Says He'll Have "Sleepless Nights" With The Return Of Peyton Manning

Richard Seymour knows a little bit about the new Denver Broncos quarterback, Peyton Manning. Seymour and Manning had multiple encounters during the heyday of the Patriots-Colts rivalry. Now, the Raiders defensive end has to deal with Manning once again.

"I thought having five kids gave me sleepless nights, now I have to deal with Peyton again," Seymour said.

Seymour was joking with the NFL Network's Steve Wyche when he said that but the essence rings true. One of the best to ever do it is now in the Raiders division and the Raiders' defense will have to be ready to face the challenge at least twice a year.

"In all seriousness, our league is a better league with Peyton and we look forward to the opportunity to face a quarterback like Peyton," Seymour said. "It provides a measuring stick for where you are as a defense to be the best - and to be the best, you have to beat the best."

As a defensive player, you know Seymour is salivating at the chance to hit Manning one more time. But at the same time, if he doesn't get to him, he feels bad for the secondary. This is going to be fun.
