#8 Memphis vs. #9 St. Louis: Why on Earth are these teams in the eight/nine spots? They're drastically underseeded. This is exactly the type of matchup where St. Louis should thrive if they can play at their tempo and force Memphis into a halfcourt game.
#5 New Mexico vs. #12 Long Beach State: New Mexico is peaking at the exact same time, and Long Beach State hasn't played quality competition in ages. New Mexico is what's happening here.
#4 Louisville vs. #13 Davidson: Louisville is one of those teams that is hitting the tourney on a roll, and Davidson is going to be in trouble here.
#6 Murray State vs. #11 Colorado State: Murray State's biggest issues are defensive rebounds and turnovers. Colorado State is good at neither of those things. Murray State rocks on.
#3 Marquette vs. #14 BYU: Another fast-paced game with the Cougars might wear them down. There goes Marquette.
#7 Florida vs. #10 Virginia: Offense meets defense as both teams are strong . I go with defense. Virginia.
#2 Missouri vs. #15 Norfolk State: Missouri is going to roll it up.

#1 Michigan State vs. #9 St. Louis: St. Louis could be a team to send a shock to the system, but it'll be close. Michigan State though.
#4 Louisville vs. #5 New Mexico: New Mexico has a much better offense, making them the team to beat.
#3 Marquette vs. #6 Murray State: Murray State scores the upset thanks to their great three point shooting.
#2 Missouri vs. #10 Virginia: Virginia's defense is offset by the general awesomeness of Missouri on both sides of the ball. The Tigers are just too well-equipped to be beat by a one-dimensional team in the tournament. Missouri.
Sweet 16
#1 Michigan State vs. #5 New Mexico: The run ends here for New Mexico, as Michigan State shows its all-around completeness by beating the Lobos at their own game and slowing the game down as well.
#2 Missouri vs. #6 Murray State: Missouri faces a team that knows how to play its pace (and play a more complete game) when they face the Racers. Murray State scores the upset.

#1 Michigan State vs. #6 Murray State: Michigan State's strength on their boards and their overall team defense will punch their ticket to the Final Four.
