Thanks to the kind folks over at ESPN for not making us all wait with faded breath until Monday morning to hear Joe Lunardi's latest bracketology update, and giving us an early glimpse at his latest choices as to who gets in the big dance, and who gets to go home.
According to Lunardi, the California Goden Bears men's basketball team will be making the big dance this year, projecting them as a 32 in his latest S-Curve projections. Cal has only two more regular season game left when they take on the Colorado Buffaloes today, then their long time rival Stanford Cardinal on March 4, then on to the Pac-12 tournament after that.
Their 23-6 overall record doesn't have a lot of big time victories in it with the luke warm Pac-12 this season, but played a solid season throughout, and should be considered in the dance.
