Santa Clara Vs. BYU Final Score: Losing Streak Stretches To 15 Games As Broncos Take 82-67 Loss

By any metric, 15-game losing streaks are not good. The Santa Clara Broncos hosted the BYU Cougars on Saturday evening and once again wound up on in the loss column, falling to 0-14 in WCC play with the 82-67 loss.

The first half was a closely-contested affair. Santa Clara entered halftime down just three points, 34-31. Things did not at all go their way in the second half, however, as the Cougars outscored them by 12 en route to the 15-point victory.

Niyi Harrison and Brandon Clark each picked up 19 points for Santa Clara in the losing effort, while Raymond Cowels III also contributed 14 points. BYU forward Noah Hartsock led all scorers with 21 points in the game.

Santa Clara will play their next game on Thursday, February 23, when they host the Pepperdine Waves. The Broncos have just two games left to try to end the season with at least one conference win.
