Santa Clara Vs. Gonzaga TV Schedule: Broncos Look To Salvage Season On ESPN2

The Santa Clara Broncos look to create some kind of highlight Thursday evening as they host the No. 23 Gonzaga Bulldogs on ESPN2. Dave Flemming and Bob Valvano will have the call beginning at 8:00pm PT. The season has been disastrous for the Broncos as they deal with a suspended Kevin Foster and all around struggles that have them 0-12 in conference play and 8-17 overall. Gonzaga is looking to maintain pace as they remain back of the conference-leading Saint Mary's Gaels.

A season after winning the CIT postseason tournament, Santa Clara has seen virtually nothing go right. Star scorer Kevin Foster was arrested on suspicion of DUI and has been subsequently suspended through the rest of the regular season and postseason. One highlight thus far has been the emergence of freshman Denzel Johnson, who has scored 17 or more points in five of the last six games.

The Broncos have two current players averaging double figures: Roquemore scores 13.0 ppg and Harrison adds 11.7 ppg. Roquemore has a team-leading 5.3 apg. Harrison leads the team with 6.2 rpg and Yannick Atanga is second with 5.1 rpg. Two current Broncos average double figures in conference play as Roquemore scores 13.0 ppg and Harrison collects 11.7 ppg. Harrison is the leading rebounder in league play with 5.6 rpg and Roquemore paces the team with 4.7 apg.

Gonzaga, ranked No. 23 nationally earlier this week, is 20-4 and 10-2 in the WCC. Gonzaga is averaging 73.9 ppg, including 73.9 ppg in league play. It's giving up 63.1, including a league-low 61.9 ppg. The Bulldogs have three players averaging double figures: Kevin Pangos, a WCC Player of the Year candidate, scores 13.9 ppg, Elias Harris 13.2 and Robert Sacre adds 11.8 ppg. Harris leads the team with 8.1 rpg and Pangos sets the pace with 3.5 apg.
