Kings vs. Trail Blazers preview: Sacramento looks for third-straight win

The Kings are playing better basketball in recent days despite not having Tyreke Evans healthy.

The Sacramento Kings got off to a rough start this season, although they've shown signs of life in recent weeks. Despite not having star guard Tyreke Evans healthy, Sacramento has won two in a row over Eastern Conference foes. On Saturday night, they'll head to Portland to take on the Trail Blazers.

The Blazers enter with a 8-11 record, which places them fifth in the Northwest Division. They're led by veteran big man LaMarcus Aldridge, who averages nearly 21 points and six rebounds a game. Former King forward J.J. Hickson is having a solid year as well, averaging close to a double-double with 11 points and 9.8 rebounds.

A win on Saturday would give the Kings their first road victory of the year. The team is 0-6 away this year, and its last road contest saw them lose by 35 in Los Angeles.
