The San Francisco 49ers dropped a 16-13 overtime game to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. To make matters worse, San Francisco wide receiver Mario Manningham was knocked out of the game.
Manningham left the game after injuring his shoulder in the fourth quarter against St. Louis, and he did not return. The team doesn't yet know how serious the injury is, and Manningham is questionable for San Francisco's Week 14 game against the Miami Dolphins.
While Manningham was the only 49er to suffer an injury during the loss to the Rams, seven San Francisco players missed the Week 13 game. Quarterback Scott Tolzien, running backs LaMichael James and Jewel Hampton, safety Trenton Robinson, offensive guard Joe Looney, tight end Demarcus Dobbs, and nose tackle Ian Williams all sat out.
The 49ers and Dolphins are set to meet Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1:05 p.m. The game will be televised on CBS.
