The Oakland Raiders have taken advantage of two Sebastian Janikowski field goals in the second quarter to take a slim 9-0 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs at halftime.

The Chiefs have struggled mightily on offense, accumulating just 17 yards of total offense. They failed to gain a single first down and are losing the possession battle big time, as the Raiders have kept the ball for over 20 minutes compared to 9:56 for Kansas City. Brady Quinn is 8-12 for 35 yards and an interception, while star running back Jamaal Charles has -2 yards on just three carries.

Oakland quarterback Carson Palmer has been solid but nothing out of the ordinary so far, with 111 yards on 12-20 passing. Running back Darren McFadden has picked up 57 yards on 16 carries, while backup Mike Goodson has chipped in with 42 yards of total offense. Oakland has 12 first downs and 198 yards of total offense.
