The Golden State Warriors ended their seven-game road trip with a win, defeating the Atlanta Hawks by the score of 115-93 at the Philips Arena behind David Lee's 20 points and 11 rebounds. With the win, the Warriors improved to 16-8 on the season.
After ending the first quarter in a 26-26 tie, the Warriors didn't look back and coasted to victory from there with a dominant second and third quarter. The key may have been Golden State's defense against Atlanta's Josh Smith, who made just one of his 12 shots from the floor.
Lee's 20 points marks the tenth straight game in which the big man has scored 20 or more points for Golden State and 12 in the past 13. But it wasn't just him on Saturday, as four other players scored in double-figures, including Stephen Curry, who added 11 assists with his 18 points.
With their seven-game road trip in the books -- all of which were out-of-conference games -- the Warriors will head back home to get much needed rest before Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Hornets come to visit on Tuesday.
