49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady have a couple of things in common. First, they're both Northern California natives and both have taken over for injured quarterbacks mid season. For the time being, that's pretty much all they have in common. Brady has three Super Bowl rings, two MVP trophies and slew of other accolades. Kaepernick has none of that. Despite that, CSN Bay Area looked at Kaepernick's first four games and lined them up with Brady's and the numbers came out in the 49ers second year quarterback's favor.

Pretty good numbers for Kaepernick, but to start making the Brady comparison is a bit of a stretch, even if the two quarterbacks are squaring off. Kickoff from Gillette Stadium is set for 5:20 p.m. Sunday night. The game can be seen on NBC.
