The storylines heading into Sunday night's showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots are numerous, but the one getting the most play might be the reunion between 49ers' WR Randy Moss and his former coach and team.
Moss had plenty of positive things to say about his time in New England, and his fondness for Pats' coach Bill Belichick in particular.
"I learned a lot from Bill Belichick," Moss said. "I've said time and time again, before I got to New England, I thought I knew a lot about football. But I think he taught me a lot from A to Z. I still carry it to this day.
"The compliments are great and I respect Coach Belichick and that organization still to this day. And hopefully we have a good game coming out Sunday night. Looking forward to the game, and hopefully the fans do, too."
Moss played for the Patriots for three seasons from 2007-2009 and again briefly at the end of 2010. His time in New England saw him catch 259 passes for 3,904 yards and 50 TD's.
