Nothing good can come from 17 turnovers in one game, just ask the Sacramento Kings. Of the 12 players dressed for the Kings on Saturday night, only three players didn't have one or more turnovers against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers took advantage of every opportunity given to them and destroyed Sacramento, 116-81.
In the loss, Jason Thompson was the bright spot with a double-double of 12 rebounds and 14 points with zero turnovers. Marcus Thornton lead the team in scoring with 20 points, shooting 6-for-9 from the three point line. Off the bench, Chuck Hayes added eight rebounds, four assists and two block shots.
This is the third loss for Sacramento, taking it's record to 4-12. The team has three days to regroup before facing the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 7:00 p.m. PT. The game can be seen on CSCA. These three days are the longest break the Kings will have for the rest of December. They play 14 games in 26 days, with a majority of the schedule having one day of rest/travel between games.
