Cal hosts Oregon on Saturday, and the Golden Bears are 28-point underdogs in this Pac-12 battle. The Ducks are 9-0 and in the thick of the BCS title hunt, while the Bears are assured of missing a bowl for the second time in the last three years.
The total is set at 67½. The Ducks nearly matched that on their own last weekend, running up 62 points in a victory over USC. In most games this season, Oregon has pumped the brakes in the second half, limiting its scoring in blowout victories. Cal has hit the over just once in five home games, while the Ducks have gone over three of five times on the road.
Oregon is just 5-4 against the spread this year, which can be attributed to the second-half coasting. Cal's ATS record is identical to its straight-up record of 3-7.
