Raiders vs. Browns: QB Terrelle Pryor to dress?

With Carson Palmer unsure to play Sunday vs. Browns, Terrelle Pryor could suit up for the Raiders for the first time this season.

Oakland Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer is dealing with a thumb injury that could keep him out of Sunday's match up vs. the Cleveland Browns. If that's the case, Matt Leinart will start for the Raiders. That would also mean third string quarterback Terrelle Pryor could suit up as the Raiders back up quarterback for the first time this season. Jerry McDonald of the San Jose Mercury News writes Pryor suiting up this week is up in the air, but head coach Dennis Allen wants to see him in uniform soon.

"Somewhere down line we need to see what he can do," Allen said. "Now when that time is, I don't know the exact answer for that yet. But there will be a time where we've got to get a look at him."

Despite his inactivity on Sundays, McDonald writes Pryor is attentive in meetings during the week and Pryor himself says he knows every play, but also admits he won't know what will happen when he's actually out on the field. Kickoff for Browns-Raiders is set for 1:25 p.m. PT from O.Co Coliseum.
