Coming off possibly their most impressive performance of the season, the San Francisco 49ers will travel to New Orleans this week to face the Saints.

San Francisco secured its spot as the top team in the NFC with a 32-7 victory against the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. The 49ers have won three of their last four games, but will face one of the hottest teams in the NFL this week. New Orleans is just 5-5 on the season, but have won five of their last six games. The Saints cruised to a 38-17 win against the Raiders last week.

Sunday's game will be a battle between two of the best units in the NFL. New Orleans enters with the second-best passing offense in the league, but San Francisco has the second-best passing defense in the NFL. The 49ers allow just 182.9 passing yards per game, a stark contrast from the 296.4 passing yards per game the Saints average.

The 49ers, who knocked off the Saints 36-32 in the playoffs last season, opened as a 2-1/2-point favorite, according to OddsShark.com.
