Raiders' owner Mark Davis: 'I'm embarrassed'

The Raiders have dropped three straight, including blowouts at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens and New Orleans Saints.

After picking up two straight wins including an overtime thriller with the Jacksonville Jaguars, things seemed to be looking up for the Oakland Raiders. But the black and silver have dropped three straight and the fewest points an opponent has scored in that stretch is the 38 points the New Orleans Saints dropped on them yesterday. Doug Martin also ran all over them when the losing streak started, picking up 251 yards on the ground in his coming-out game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Once head coach Dennis Allen was done meeting with the media yesterday, he spoke with general manager Reggie McKenzie and owner Mark Davis for almost 20 minutes and when they were done, Davis spoke with the media. He didn't mince words when expressing his disappointment with the team.

I'm embarrassed. Pissed. Disappointed. And I take full responsibility for it. I'm patient, but I want to see progress. Not regression.

The Raiders will try and stop their skid next week on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals before they come home for three straight games against the Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs.
