The San Francisco Giants have announced that Ryan Vogelsong will start Game 3 of the NLDS, according to beat reporter Andrew Baggarly.
Vogelsong follows starting pitchers Matt Cain and Madison Bumgarner in the rotation. He finished the regular season 14-9 with a 3.37 ERA and 158 strikeouts.
Vogelsong's inclusion in the rotation is bad news for pitcher Tim Lincecum, who was seen doing warmups with the relief pitchers prior to Game 2.
Tim Lincecum is doing pregame running with the relievers. Just one more indication he will be bypassed in NLDS rotation.

The news comes on the heels of a disappointing season for the former Cy Young winner, who was 10-15 with a 5.18 ERA in 2012.
Vogelsong's opponent in Game 3 appears to be Homer Bailey.
The #Reds are listing Bailey as the Game 3 starter. TBA for Game 4, 5.

With Bailey getting the start, it remains to be seen when Reds ace Johnny Cueto will return to the mound. He was injured in the opening game of the series.
