The San Jose St. Spartans and the UTSA Roadrunners in a battle of WAC powerhouses in San Antonio. San Jose State opened as two touchdown favorites; the line has dropped since then, but the Spartans are still favored by as little as 11.5 points and as many as 13, depending on the sportsbook you look at.
UTSA has gotten off to a solid start this season, as they sit at 5-1. They won their first five games of the season, beating out South Alabama, Texas A&M Commerce, Georgia State, Northwestern Oklahoma State, and even New Mexico State to start their season 1-0 in WAC play. But they did fall to Rice in Houston last week, and are still serious underdogs to SJSU.
San Jose State has played very well this season. The Spartans nearly upset Stanford the first week of the season, then beat up UC Davis, Colorado Staet, San Diego State and Navy to pull off four in a row before falling to Utah State last week.
