The California Golden Bears and the Stanford Cardinal will be battling each other in the 2012 Big Game. Cal is coming off of two straight wins against UCLA at home and Washington State at home, but they're still searching to get back to .500 after a tough 1-4 start. Stanford is looking to fix things up after their second road loss to Notre Dame.
Stanford opened as 1.5 point favorites against Cal, but the line has moved up to 2.5 to 3 points. Stanford has struggled on the road so far this season. They were upset in Seattle by Washington 17-13, and then fell to the Irish in overtime 20-13 on a final controversial call at the goal-line. The Cardinal have yet to score an offensive touchdown on the road, and you have to figure that will have to change if they plan on winning the Axe for the third straight season.
