As the Oakland Raiders travel across country this week to take on the 5-0 Atlanta Falcons, they'll enter hostile territory as considerable underdogs. According to Odds Shark, the Falcons began the week as 7 1/2 point favorites, although most betting sites have moved the line to nine points since the start of the week.

The over/under for the AFC-NFC clash is set at 48 1/2 points, which means we should probably expect a high scoring game on Sunday afternoon. The Falcons are averaging about 29 1/2 points per week, while the Raiders are averaging just below 17.

Oakland is going to have to slow Matt Ryan and Atlanta's high-flying offensive attack if they hope to pull out the upset. Ryan likes to look at Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez down the field, and veteran tailback Michael Turner is still capable of doing some damage on the ground. It's imperative the Raiders force them into unfavorable downs and they get Darren McFadden going early and often to help keep the Falcons' playmakers off the field.
