The NFC West continues to make its claim as the strongest division in the NFL, with none of the four teams currently boasting losing records. The San Francisco 49ers are in second place alone, trailing one team and leading two others by a game each.

The Arizona Cardinals improved to 4-0 with an overtime win against the Miami Dolphins. Arizona looked like they were in danger of their first loss when they trailed by a touchdown with minutes remaining against Miami, but a late Dolphin turnover gave Arizona a chance. Kevin Kolb led the team on a game-tying drive, capping it off with a 4th down touchdown pass to Andre Roberts. Another Miami turnover in overtime set up a Jay Feely 46 yard field goal to win the game.

The St. Louis Rams and the Seattle Seahawks had a tough battle in the Edward Jones Dome, with St. Louis pulling it out with a final score of 19-13. Neither Sam Bradford nor Russell Wilson had much success against the opposing defenses - with Wilson throwing three interceptions and Bradford one - and neither of them throwing a touchdown pass. A St. Louis fake field goal resulted in a touchdown, turning out to be the big difference in this game. St. Louis and Seattle are both 2-2.
