Stanford Vs. Oregon Preview: Card Hit The Road For First Time Since Dec. 1

It’s been a nice start to 2012 so far for the Stanford Cardinal, earning themselves a easy win over the USC Trojans on New Year’s Eve, and now take their first road trip in over a month, heading to Eugene to take on the Oregon Ducks.

Oregon (10-4 1-1) is the stiffest competition that Stanford (12-2, 2-0) has faced in the Pac-12 thus far, with the Ducks coming off an impressive win of their own against WSU. They’re currently averaging 70.1 points a game, and are one of the most potent offensive teams in the conference, so the Card will have their hands full tonight.

Look for Josh Owens to have himself a big game if the Cardinal want to get out of town with a win, as well as Dwight Powell, who comes in averaging 12.5 points a game against the Ducks in his career.
