After their impressive quadruple-overtime victory over the dangerous Oregon State Beavers in their last game out, the Stanford Cardinal men’s basketball team returns home for the first of a two game homestand before embarking out on the road for the rest of the month.
The Cardinal (13-3, 3-1 Pac-12) are finally back at Maples Pavilion this week for its one and only homestand of January. Conference newcomer Utah (4-11, 1-2 Pac-12) heads to town on Thursday night, looking to earn their 10th home victory of the season thus far.
These teams havent square off since way back when in 2007, and 82-77 overtime loss in the Western region semifinal of the NCAA tournament, played in San Jose that year. Hopefully they can build off the momentum of their last victory and keep it rolling at Maples.
