Just in case any of you were wondering, here are the terms of Terelle Pryor’s suspension: (From Yahoo)
Per the terms of the suspension, Pryor could play in the preseason, though he can only visit the team’s facility during the suspension; he can’t practice and he will not be placed on the Raiders’ active roster until Week 6.
This is a double silver lining:
"Pryor could play in the preseason"
1) With the suspension not being immediate, Terelle Pryor, can practice with the team and get into the playbook for the rest of the Pre-Season. For a developmental player, this means that he may be able to run a few plays this year. If he had to join the team in Week 6 his options would be considerably limited.
"He will not be placed on the Raiders’ active roster until Week 6."
Basically, the Raiders will have 5 weeks to choose between Boller and Edwards. Hopefully, a lot will be learned about Pryor over those five weeks by how he handles himself and how well he prepares.
