Jabari Parker Makes Unofficial Visits To Stanford, BYU, Utah

Jabari Parker won't be uninformed when he makes his college decision. The current top basketball prospect for the class of 2013 is making the rounds well before he decides where to make his official visits.

This past week, Parker visited the BYU Cougars, Utah Utes and Stanford Cardinal. Parker has made his interest in BYU well-known, being one of the members of LDS, and he supposedly visited one of the practices last week.

Of more interest to Bay Area folks is Parker's visit to Palo Alto. According to Reggie Rankin of ESPN, Parker really enjoyed his visit and talk with Stanford head coach Johnny Dawkins. This could bode well for the Cardinal, who have really been struggling to even tread water in the Pac-10 the past few years. Landing an impact recruit like Parker could signal a shift in fortunes for Bay Area college basketball recruiting.
