NFL Training Camp 2011: Michael Bush Turning Heads at Raiders Camp

Some speculated that Oakland Raiders running back Michael Bush would take a little while to get back into the flow of things after missing the first week of training camp as a restricted free agent. But since he has arrived with the Silver and Black, Bush has done nothing but impress.

Head coach Hue Jackson was one of the most impressed up in Napa:

"He looks awesome to me...looks lean to me, he looks quicker, he looks faster, and he still has that explosion. He's still come down hill on you and put that right elbow on you. So I'm excited to watch him play because he is one of the better players on our team and when he's carried the ball for us he's done some marvelous things."

Bush is preparing for the team's first preseason matchup on Thursday, and feels the Silver and Black have a great opportunity to take down the AFC West:

"To me, every year is open. We made a pretty strong statement last year, so if we can just pick up where we left off. I mean, it's been a lot of changes through the division with players and stuff like that but we kind of kept a lot of the players we had from last year so I think we'll be fine."

But if you had any doubt he was ready, Bush just has one thing to say:

"You call it, I'll haul it."
