VIDEO: Alex Morgan Incredible Goal For Western New York Flash

At SB Nation Bay Area, we've been talking about Alex Morgan being a marketable women's soccer star and having an incredible army of fans. But all of her newfound stardom starts with her being an amazing, amazing soccer player.

The Cal soccer alum Morgan returned to Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) action this week as part of the Western New York Flash, and notched her first goal since returning from Germany today against the Boston Breakers. And this isn't just your run-of-the mill strike, but Morgan proved her skills by showing she could make even the most difficult of shots end up in the back of the net.

Video after the jump.

As you can see, the Brazilian star Marta sends the ball originally in on the free kick, but the Breakers aren't able to clear the ball properly and it ends up going right into the unchecked foot of Morgan. Morgan then uses the outside of her left foot to flick it in and tie the game at 2-2.

I can get used to watching plays like these.
