The 2011 American Century Championship tees off the second round Saturday morning at 8:05am pacific at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course. Actor Jack Wagner holds the early lead by five points over Jeremy Roenick and Chris Chandler. Wagner is part of the final threesome, which includes the top three players so far. After airing on VERSUS Friday afternoon, the tournament will move over to NBC at noon pacific on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday features some players with notable Bay Area ties teeing off. Former Cal star Jason Kidd tees off at 8:15am with Tim Tebow and Andy Pettitte (free time now following the Clemens mistrial?). Fellow Cal star Aaron Rodgers tees off at 8:35 with Matt Ryan and Greg Maddux. Hall of Famer Jerry Rice tees off at 9:25 with Ray Allen and Oliver Hudson. And of course at 10:20am, new Sacramento Kings guard Jimmer Fredette will tee off with Charles Barkley in a battle to avoid last place in the tournament.
