2011 American Century Championship Results: Jack Wagner Leader After First Round

The 2011 American Century Celebrity Championship golf tournament wrapped up the first day with actor Jack Wagner scoring 29 points and leading the field by five points. Former NHL star Jeremy Roenick and former NFL QB Chris Chandler were tied for second with 24 points. Defending champion Billy Joe Tolliver is in 17th place with 14 points while eight-time champion Rick Rhoden is tied for fifth with 19 points. He is tied with co-favorite Tony Romo.

The tournament uses the modified Stableford scoring system, which awards points based on performance on each hole. The more points you accumulate the better, which means negative scores put you at the bottom of the standings. Jay DeMarcus currently sits in last place at -31 points, with Charles Barkley and Jimmer Fredette tied for 83rd place with -30 points.

Some notable Bay Area performances include Aaron Rodgers tied for 38th, Jerry Rice tied for 22nd, Mark Mulder tied for 17th, Trent Dilfer tied for 29th, and Jason Kidd tied for 56th. Here is a rundown of the top 13:
