Robbie Gould Interviews Trent Dilfer At American Century Championship

The 2011 American Century Championship is underway at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Lake Tahoe and that means the often amusing player-vs-player interviews are coming out. Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould took a few minutes to interview former 49ers quarterback Trent Dilfer prior to both players hitting the course.

Dilfer is generally regarded as a very solid golfer and is one of the early favorites in the tournament at 12/1 odds. Dilfer completed his first round and is tied for 29th place with a +11. The tournament uses the modified Stableford scoring system, which means positive scores are better than negative scores. Gould also completed his round and finished a +10 on day one. Jack Wagner currently leads the field with +25 through 16 holes. Jay DeMarcus is in last with a -29, three shots ahead of Charles Barkley and Jimmer Fredette.

The tournament was on VERSUS Friday afternoon and will move over the NBC Saturday and Sunday from noon to three pm pacific each day.
