2011 American Century Celebrity Tournament Odds: Tony Romo, Rick Rhoden Among Tournament Favorites

The 2011 American Century Celebrity Championship has gotten underway in Lake Tahoe and features a whole host of talented professional athletes. While many professional athletes enjoy playing golf in their free time, some have reached a level where they could conceivably compete at a pro level. They might not be at the same level as the Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy's of the world, but they could be solid competitors.

As with any sporting event, we've got some basic odds for the tournament. There are 86 golfers taking part but these are just odds for some of the favorites. Rick Rhoden won the tournament in 2008 and 2009 and Billy Joe Tolliver won last year. Tony Romo is generally a favorite in these tournaments as he is acknowledged to be one of the better golfers among professional athletes.

We'll have a rundown of scores after the first round is complete this afternoon. For now, Jeremy Roenick has the early lead with a two-shot lead over Jack Wagner who is still on the course.
