The 2011 Amgen Tour of California hits the midway point on Wednesday as Stage 4 takes the riders from Livermore to San Jose with a multitude of huge climbs ahead of them. We've mentioned the various viewing options before but once again, if you are not able to check out Stage 4 in person, the Tour has done an excellent job providing you with additional options.
Versus will be providing coverage for Stage 4 beginning at 2pm pacific time. The stage is set to start at 11:45am with the leaders of the pack expected to arrive in San Jose between 3:15 and 3:34pm. If you're not sure whether you have Versus, you can check your own cable information, or head over to a Versus channel finder page.
This stage of the race features some serious climbing early on and really throughout the 81.8 miles, so you also will likely want to check out the live online streaming option the Amgen Tour of California website provides. The site's live online stream features the preview videos as well as in-race coverage. Considering how few sports provide awesome online streams, this is pretty impressive work from Amgen.
If you aren't able to view the footage of the race, we'll have plenty of coverage in our Tour of California story stream, while Podium Cafe will continue providing in-depth discussion about the race.
