Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers: Thaddeus Young Impresses, Including Sweet Reverse Alley-Oop Layup

Thaddeus Young of the Philadelphia 76ers had an impressive showing in Game 1 of the 2011 NBA Playoffs against the Miami Heat. He scored 12 of his 20 points in the 4th quarter, the majority of those on a run that cut the Miami big lead from 16 to 1. He also grabbed eight offensive rebounds, four during that final run. Young really looked like he was working harder than most of the other players on the floor with his effort

He punctuated his impressive performance with this incredible reverse alley-oop layup on the feed from Andre Iguodala.

At 23, Young is a free agent this summer, so there's probably some self-interest at work with this effort, but the man looks like he has a bright future with his rebounding and athleticism in the open court. Unfortunately, Dwyane Wade got the better of him in this game thanks to some dubious officiating, but that doesn't negate the impressiveness of his performance.
