The third round of the Fry's.com Open at CordeValle has just got underway after the second round concluded earlier this morning. Paul Casey leads at -8 par while veteran Ernie Els and veritable no-name Bud Cauley lurk behind him by just a stroke.
Former number one in the world Tiger Woods got himself into red numbers in round two, and is looking for a big Saturday to get him into contention on Sunday, while Northern California natives Spencer Levin and Ricky Barnes are well within striking distance. The weather that caused problems the first few days in San Martin shouldn't be a factor from here on in, meaning it'l be a race to the finish at this years Fry's.com Open.
Tiger tees off at 10:15 along with Louis Oosthuizen and Matt Bettencourt, while the final group of Paul Casey, Bud Cauley, and Ernie Els tees of at 12:25.
You can catch the tournament on TV the rest of the weekend on the Golf Channel, starting at 1 pm PT both Saturday and Sunday.
