Warriors And Sharks Early On In Your TV Schedule, Australian Open Later

Both the Warriors and Sharks will be in action tonight, and you need to be paying attention for that. In other news, the Australian Open is under way and there should be some exciting matches tonight, as a huge tennis lover - I suggest you watch. If you know what's good for you, capiche?

NBA Basketball: New Jersey Nets @ Golden State Warriors | 1:00 p.m. | CSN Bay Area - The Warriors have a pretty good recent history, what with beating the Nets in their last five games. Can they make it six? Immediately preceded and followed by Warriors Pregame and Postgame Live, respectively.

NHL Hockey: San Jose Sharks @ Phoenix Coyotes | 1:00 p.m. | CSN California - The Sharks won in their last outing against Phoenix, and recently broke a streak of six losses in a row with a 4-2 victory over the Blues. Immediately preceded and followed by Sharks Pregame and Postgame Live, respectively.

Tennis: Australian Open Early Round Play | 6:00 p.m. | ESPN2 - I imagine the ESPN coverage will begin with Dinara Safina taking on Kim Clijsters, and will eventually feature Rafael Nadal in his match against Marcos Daniel. The coverage runs throughout the evening and there's some exciting matches in there, so watch.

Chronicle Live | 5:00 p.m. | CSN Bay Area - John Madden will be on the program and I imagine most of the discussion will be on the Oakland Raiders an the Warriors.

UFC Fight Night: Marquardt vs. Palhares | 7:00 p.m. | SPIKE - This is a repeat, but if you're a fan of MMA, you can't go wrong with some of the fighters showcased on this event. I caught it live, and loved every second. A controversial main event did nothing to take away from this stellar card.

NHL Hockey: Los Angeles Kings @ Dallas Stars | 5:30 p.m. | VERSUS - This is the "marquee" game tonight, and it has obvious relevance within the Sharks' Pacific Division, so it's worth a look.
