Oakland A's Fan Lays Out In Impressive Fashion

Unfortunately mlb.com does not allow for embedding of their videos, so you'll have to go to this link. Either way, this video is absolutely phenomenal. An Oakland A's fan was out near the BBQ Plaza in left field at the Oakland Coliseum when Coco Crisp hit a homerun in the third inning. The fan ran to catch the ball and completely laid himself out as he dove to make the catch.

Of course, the lay out was unnecessary because there was nobody anywhere near this guy. In fact, after diving the fan missed the ball and after it bounced off a nearby wall, it then bounced back and down behind the left field fence, out of the fan's reach. I can only hope somebody gave him a baseball effort. I generally don't question hustle, but this is pretty insane.
