Down By The Bay: Absolute Torture

Just a few days away from some regular season NFL action and I'm going through withdrawals. It's almost worse than the middle of the offseason. At this point, it's so close I can taste it, which is just absolute torture. We had some baseball yesterday, which admittedly, I'm getting crazy about what with the playoffs and the like. Let's get to the links.

After the jump is all you need to know when it comes to the A's, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Warriors, Sharks and all of Bay Area sports is laid in front of you by myself, as per our team specific blogs. So jump when I say jump... jump.

Four game winning streak? Say whaaaa? The Giants won again yesterday, and it was a great game that saw Tim Lincecum looking pretty good. That's about as much as i could ask for, to be honest. McCovey Chronicles has a postgame thread and recap for you to read, celebrate on and jam to hard techno in.

The A's couldn't get the win yesterday. In fact, it was a wholly frustrating game for A's fans. Athletics Nation has an equally frustrated postgame thread.

Niners Nation posted a transcript from a recent press conference with Mike Singletary. On top of that, they took a look at recent free agent signing quarterback Troy Smith and whether or not the team is better off than they would be with Nate Davis.

The Sharks released their training camp schedule, which is cool, because news for the team is so scarce right now it's not even right. I can't wait for more hockey.
