Troy Smith At 3rd String?

New, 1 comment

It’s interesting to think that Troy Smith was not content as a backup in Baltimore and signed to be a 3rd-string player in San Francisco. It is tough to imagine that Troy would have come to the bay without thinking that he had a legitimate shot at starting some games at some point during the season. He has played well in his few chances to play over the last few years and he could be a guy that Singletary gives a shot if Alex Smith struggles early in the season.
