Golden State Warriors Training Camp Updates: Starting Five Announced

Well, that didn't take too long. Only two days into training camp, Keith Smart already has his starters in place for the new-look Warriors. Matt Steinmetz of CSN Bay Area reports.

Just two days into training camp, Warriors coach Keith Smart says he knows who will make up his team’s starting five:

Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, Dorell Wright, David Lee and Andris Biedrins.

Smart confirmed those names after Wednesday's morning session.

There are no surprises there. Wright figured to win the small forward spot over Reggie Williams and Vladimir Radmanovic on his defense alone, and that appears to have happened. 

Lee will officially make the move to power forward, which will be a change for him. Lee played almost exclusively at center for the Knicks last year. 

Not the biggest deal, but it does look like we're seeing a slow transition back to convention after the wild days of Nellie-ball. Now all this team needs is some defense...
